Every few minutes this monitor starts a brand-new Celestia light node with an empty store, waits for it to connect, sync headers and sample data, then restarts it on the same store and checks that sampling resumes.

Startup, header sync, first sample and restart timings come from the node itself. Live head sampling is informational: it records how long header gossip took to reach the new node.
